Back after 5 years

For this 17th edition of the Salon Industriel de l’Estrie, the team of Groupe Pageau has once again worked to create a synergy between all the players working in the industrial, manufacturing, and heavy construction fields.

Become an exhibitor at the Salon Industriel de l'Estrie, presented on May 16 and 17, 2023 at the Centre de foires de Sherbrooke!

Why Estrie?

The Sherbrooke region is perfect for an industrial event:

Its Industrial and Science Park is strategically located at the crossroads of highways 10/55 and 410, where it benefits from two direct highway accesses. It is home to the largest concentration of manufacturing and service industries in Sherbrooke.

The Regional Industrial Park is also home to a critical mass of goods and services suppliers: distribution centers, warehouses, industrial suppliers and transportation companies.

The SIE in numbers

  • 2000 visitors on average per edition
  • 200 companies represented
  • 7 expert conferences

Origin and role of visitors

  • More than 81% of visitors have a direct influence on purchases;
  • 66% of visitors come from the Eastern Townships;
  • 34% of visitors come from the outlying regions, from Quebec City to Montreal, including Centre-du-Québec and Mauricie.

The Industrial Shows combine expert demonstrations, networking, and new technologies. Since 1984, our shows have been organized throughout Quebec to allow regional and provincial companies to showcase their expertise.

Honorary Co-Presidency

We are honored to announce that, due to the importance of this event and the territory served, the Salon Industriel de l’Estrie 2023 will have two honorary co-presidents! We are pleased to introduce Mrs Lise Déziel, President and CEO of Cordé Électrique, and Mr Simon LaRochelle, President and Chief Executive Officer, Royer Inc.!

Mme Lise Déziel

It is with pride that I will hold the role of honorary co-president at the Salon Industriel de l’Estrie. President and CEO of Cordé Électrique for more than 12 years, my experience and involvement in the business community have allowed me to acquire a reading and understanding of the main issues present in our region.

Valuing the presence of women in the manufacturing sector is particularly close to my heart as one of them. Today, our sectors are more than ever in demand for female labour. Integrating them in the best possible conditions to allow them to develop their skills and expertise is a mission that I give myself every day. Creating, innovating and renewing group synergies for the growth and health of our Quebec companies allows us to achieve our objectives.

The professional commitment of young people in the industrial sector is also a decisive issue that influences my overall vision of work in 2023. This commitment rubs off on the success of industries. Talent, ideas, determination, confidence and enthusiasm directly drive growth and innovation. It is our responsibility to carry out, with them, visionary and inclusive actions, in order to ensure a responsible and committed succession.

I am certain that the 2023 edition will achieve its primary objective: to promote our workforce in Quebec in order to build, together, an autonomous but above all invigorating society.

Lise Déziel

M. Simon LaRochelle

It is a privilege for me to be the honorary co-chair of this 17th edition of the Salon industriel de l’Estrie. I am particularly looking forward to discovering all the know-how and ingenuity of our local contractors, who work in the industrial, manufacturing and major construction sectors.

Throughout its 89 years of existence, ROYER has created its brand in the region and around the world. While many companies have chosen to relocate their manufacturing operations abroad, ROYER is one of the very few companies in its sector of activity to maintain – and even increase – its production activities in America.

For nearly 10 years, we have relied on digital transformation, automation and new technologies to ensure our growth. When the company was born, Louis-Philippe Royer, our founder, said: “If others do it, we can do it too!” Today, we say, “If we can, then you can do it too!” It is our turn to be an example of transformation for others who are reluctant to start.

C’est avec cet esprit et cet optimisme sur nos capacités et notre ingéniosité que je prends part à l’édition 2023 du Salon industriel de l’Estrie. J’espère que je pourrai partager avec vous mon expertise et apprendre de la vôtre.

Simon LaRochelle
