The business transfer conference will address topics such as succession preparation and planning, as well as the different types of succession and winning conditions that contribute to the success of a transfer and the sustainability of the business.
Biography: Amélie Carrier joined the CTEQ in 2022 as a business transfer advisor for the Chaudière-Appalaches region. Holder of a bachelor’s degree in business administration, she worked for more than 10 years at Développement économique Bellechasse. Exercising a role of accompaniment and advice to start-up entrepreneurs and buyers, she has also contributed to the realization of entrepreneurial projects.
His career and dynamism have allowed him to collaborate with the various actors at the heart of economic development and to clearly identify the challenges of entrepreneurship. His listening skills and willingness to make a difference in the lives of current and aspiring entrepreneurs will undoubtedly be elements that will promote the success of these mandates.
Biography: Lucie Rolland has been a business transfer advisor for the CTEQ since 2015. She was a development advisor for entrepreneurs for the CLD de la MRC de la Côte-de-Gaspé for more than eight years. With expertise in support and advice for start-up entrepreneurs, she has specialized for several years in succession planning, both with sellers and buyers. Awareness and entrepreneurial succession activities as well as training for the next generation in business transfers are part of his professional career.
In addition to holding certificates in human resources management from HEC and in arts and science from UdeM, she has completed various specific training courses aimed at supporting and training entrepreneurs, such as: Strategic Support and Consulting, Entrepreneurial Succession and Business Transfer, Leadership and Mobilization of the Person and the Success-Succession Program.
